Session Overview:
The New Careers in Nursing Scholars Network was created to promote interconnectivity among RWJF NCIN scholars. During 2011, a steering committee was formed to begin planning for the Network. This presentation by scholars will describe their vision of the future of the Network as a stand-alone organization.

The goals and objectives, along with the operating principles the steering committee has developed will be presented. It is envisioned that this Network will provide a platform for sharing resources and skill sets, allowing the group to advance and focus on a specific cause as a whole.

Session Objectives:
  1. Describe the progress of the NCIN Scholars Network over the past year.
  2. Discuss approaches for that will increase the participation of NCIN scholars in the Network.
  3. Describe the future goals, objectives and activities for the NCIN Scholars Network.
