Clinical Nurse Leader Program:
A pre-licensure program that allows individuals to earn a M.S.N. by building on the foundation of their prior degree. This program educates students to become Clinical Nurse Leaders (CNLs), an emerging nursing role being developed to improve the quality of patient care and to better prepare nurses to thrive in the health care system. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the NCLEX and earn registered nurse licensure. Students are also eligible to test for certification as a CNL.
Completed Graduate College application form; Baccalaureate or advanced degree in a non-nursing area with a minimum 3.0 GPA; Completion of prerequisite coursework; Completed application with personal essays, a current resume and three letters of recommendation; Computer literacy; TOEFL minimum score of 550 for international students.
