Graduate Entry Program (GEP):
A program designed for individuals who hold a baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing. The program is divided into two components. The first is a highly intensive, full-time program focused on the foundations of nursing. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN to receive licensure as a registered nurse. After successful completion of the first component, students spend the remaining time completing a master’s degree in a chosen area of specialty. After completion of the second component, students are awarded an M.S.N.
Baccalaureate degree in any field with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA; Successful completion of prerequisite coursework; Completed application with official transcripts, complete GEP supplement, three letters of recommendation and a current resume; Possible interview; GRE or GMAT completed within last five years; Declaration of specialty area; TOEFL minimum score of 550 for international students.
