Long text (Legacy Book):
Experts recommend that nursing students learn to make clinical judgments and that they practice taking NCLEX-style questions as part of their regular coursework. The NCIN program allowed faculty at South Dakota State University to help students prepare for the NCLEX exam by adding a module on study and testing strategies to the professional nursing course offered during the first term of the accelerated BSN program. Student response system questions, CD-ROM practice tests, and review book questions helped students practice answering NCLEX-style questions. Faculty met students one-on-one to further strengthen their test-taking and other skills.
