Students admitted to the Accelerated Bachelor of Science with a Major in Nursing degree program must have with a bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing field and complete a generalist nursing curriculum comprised of five quarters (15 months) of full-time nursing coursework. The curriculum is based on professional and nursing care competencies developed by the Oregon Consortium for Nursing Education. An option for application for direct entry into the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Midwifery Masters and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs is available.
For entry into the Accelerated BSN Program the institution has several requirments including but not limited to: Additional requirements: Letter(s) of reference, Basic computer word processing skills, References required only for ABM students; Admission Essay, Prerequisite Course Requirements: Anatomy and physiology, Microbiology, Developmental psychology/growth and development, Statistics, Nutrition, Introduction to genetics, GPA requirement of 3.0
