Baccalaureate Education Accelerates Career Opportunities in Nursing (BEACON) Program:
An accelerated program for individuals who already have a prior baccalaureate degree in a field other than nursing and who want to enter the nursing workforce. This rigorous program combines both undergraduate and graduate level courses in the curriculum. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN to receive licensure as a registered nurse.
Baccalaureate degree with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA; Successful completion of prerequisite coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA; Submission of official transcripts; Completed application with a current resume, a written statement and two professional references; Possible interview.
