Facilitated Academic Coursework Track (FACT):
A full-time option that enables highly talented students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in another field to complete the nursing major. Students are admitted to the B.S.N. and M.S.N. programs. This program builds on the baccalaureate degree and allows students to complete the B.S.N. degree in an intensive and condensed one year format. Completion of the B.S.N. component of the program enables students to sit for the NCLEX-RN and to receive licensure as a registered nurse. Students may then proceed to the M.S.N. phase of the curriculum on a full or part-time basis.
Bachelor’s degree in a non-nursing major with a minimum 3.2 GPA (under a 3.2 GPA — must present competitive GRE or MAT scores); Successful completion of prerequisite coursework; Completed application with official college transcripts, two letters of recommendation, completed essay question and a prerequisite worksheet; Personal interview.
