Accelerated Baccalaureate Program:
The accelerated baccalaureate option is available to students who already possess at minimum a baccalaureate degree in another discipline. The accelerated option begins in the summer of each year and proceeds through four terms with graduation in the second summer. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will receive a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and will be qualified to take the NCLEX-RN to obtain licensure as a registered nurse. Applicants to the accelerated option are eligible to apply to the B.S./M.S.N. options (including the B.S./M.S.N./M.P.H. and the B.S./M.S.N./M.B.A.) or the B.S. to Ph.D.
Completion of a previous baccalaureate or higher degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; Prerequisite courses to include Human Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Human Growth and Development Across the Lifespan, Statistics, and Nutrition; Completed application and fee; Official transcripts, and three letters of recommendation.
