The Accelerated Bachelor’s to BSN Degree in Nursing Program is designed for adults who have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in another discipline, are seeking a career in nursing and have demonstrated the ability to complete an accelerated course of nursing study full time. With the exception of an accelerated schedule, all course and clinical requirements are identical to the traditional BSN pre-licensure program. Nursing courses are cohort based and run in 12 week blocks including summers. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply to the State Board of Nursing to take the RN-NCLEX examination and qualify for admission to graduate study.
Baccalaureate or Master’s degree in a non-nursing discipline from a regionally accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 3.0; Completed application for admission including a personal statement of goals; Submission of all official transcripts; Successful completion of all prerequisite coursework with a grade of C+ or higher. A personal interview may be required.
