The RWJ New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Program at ETSU’s College of Nursing aims to expand the number of accelerated second-degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing student admitted to the program. The objectives of the program are to:
1) Increase the number of second-degree students by 5
2) Provide financial assistance to these students through the $10,000 scholarship
3) Target the scholarship opportunity toward students under-represented in nursing
4) Provide academic mentoring and leadership training to recipients
Minimum 2.6 GPA; prior bachelor’s degree in field other than nursing; completion of Anatomy and Physiology I and II; Microbiology; Probability and Statistics.
+/- depending on hours taken: Typical 15 hour semester would be $3376 to include nursing specific fees.
