Accelerated Option of the B.S.N Program:
A full-time accelerated program that collapses the traditional nursing program coursework into 15 months of intensive study. Upon graduation of this program, students receive a B.S.N. and are prepared to sit for the NCLEX-RN and receive licensure as a registered nurse. Graduates are also excellent nurses, strong in both theoretical knowledge and clinical skills.
Completion of a minimum of 64 semester hours of academic credit to begin the program, including all prescribed coursework OR hold a baccalaureate or higher degree in a non-nursing discipline and have completed designated general education courses. Students with or without a baccalaureate degree must have successfully completed a Certified Nurses Aid course and certification exam. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. And, students must have completed all prerequisite general education and science courses with a grade of “C” or higher.
