Sustaining Diversity--UMBCs Meyerhoff Scholars Program
The Meyerhoff Scholars Program has been at the forefront of efforts to increase diversity among future leaders in science, engineering, and related fields. The program is entering its 23rd year and the UMBC Meyerhoff family is now more than 800 strong. Over 300 recent graduates are currently enrolled in M.D., PhD., or MD/PhD programs at some of the finest universities in the country. The National Science Foundation, the National Academy of Science, the New York Times, and a host of other publications and organizations consider the program to be the best in the country.
Former director of the Meyerhoff Scholars Program, Mr. LaMont Toliver, delivers an informative session on diversity recruitment efforts. Listen here!
