Thank you for your interest in New Careers in Nursing scholarship program!

This is to remind you that the deadline for proposal submission is 3pm Eastern Time on January 13, 2010.

We will only accept proposals that are completed/submitted at the time of the deadline. In fairness to all applicants, late proposals will not be accepted— regardless of the reason for their lateness. We encourage you to submit your proposal in advance of the deadline so that any unforeseen difficulties, e.g., technical problems, may be addressed.

NOTE: Submitting your proposal is a multi-step process:

1. Remember to upload your Proposal Narrative as well as any additional documents we have requested on the Additional Documents screen.

2. Return to your "Home" screen, where you should see a red check next to each section that has been completed.

3. When all sections have a red check, a blue "Continue" button will appear at the top of the "Home" screen. Click on the blue "Continue" button to double-check the entries you've made before you submit.

4. Click on the blue "Submit Completed Proposal" button to submit your proposal.

There are three ways to confirm your proposal was successfully submitted:

1. You will see a screen confirming your submission.

2. If you registered with a valid email address, you will receive an email message confirming your submission.

3. Log in to the Grantmaking Online system with your applicant ID and password. Go to your Home page. If you have successfully submitted your proposal, a message will appear in red at the top of the Home page stating that your proposal has been submitted.

Q – What is the application deadline and late submission policy?

A – The deadline is 3pm Eastern Time on January 13, 2010. To be accepted for review, your proposal must be completed and submitted by the deadline. To be fair to all applicants, RWJF enforces a strict deadline policy.

Q – How will I know that my proposal has been successfully submitted?

A – We expect to receive many proposals, all of which must go through the same review process. If you
