Description & Objectives
Accelerated B.S.N. Program:
An accelerated nursing program designed for students who have already earned a bachelor's or masters degree in another field and wish to pursue a B.S.N. degree. This full time program is based on a combination of general education and basic core work, as well as traditional nursing coursework. Following completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the NCLEX to become a registered nurse.
Duration:
15 months
Admission Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited U.S. or equivalent college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA; Submission of official transcripts; Completion of prerequisite coursework; Minimum 2.75 prerequisite science GPA; Completed UMDNJ-SN application with a personal goals statement and three letters of recommendation; TOEFL score of 95 (internet-based) for international students.
