Description & Objectives

Second Degree Program:
An accelerated program designed specifically for students who already hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.  The intensive program incorporates the same curriculum, philosophy and program objectives as the traditional program, but in a condensed format.  As a second degree program, special focus is placed on recognizing students’ past experiences and building upon those strengths.  Upon completion of the program, graduates earn a B.S.N. and are eligible to take the NCLEX to receive licensure as a registered nurse.

12 months
Admission Requirements: 

Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA; Successful completion of prerequisite coursework with a minimum 2.5 GPA in all science courses (must have been taken within last 7 years); Completed application.
