Description & Objectives

Accelerated Basic Baccalaureate Program:
An accelerated program designed for students who have already completed a bachelor’s degree.  This program draws on prerequisite courses from the humanities and the natural and social sciences as a means of assisting students to use theory and utilize nursing processes to provide health promotion, maintenance and restoration of diverse communities.  This curriculum leads to a B.S.N. and prepares students to take the NCLEX to receive licensure as a registered nurse.

Duration: 
12 months
Admission Requirements: 

B.A. or B.S. degree with a minimum GPA of 2.8; Successful completion of prerequisite coursework; Completed application with three letters of recommendation; Certification in BLS w/ AED and a personal statement.
