Description & Objectives
Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) Program:
A second degree program for students who have earned a bachelor's degree in another field. The accelerated format of this program allows students to earn a B.S.N. in a shorter period of time than the traditional program. The accelerated B.S.N. program is for individuals with a B.S./B.A. in any field from an accredited college or university who wish to enter the nursing profession. The program allows qualified individuals to complete the nursing coursework in a condensed format. This program aims to meet the demand for nurses across the nation by increasing access for people desiring a change in career later in life, and allow faster entry into the workforce. Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN. The pass rates for graduates of the program are usually between 90-100%. After successfully completing this program, students are eligible to take the national exam to receive licensure as a registered nurse.
