Description & Objectives

Accelerated Second Degree Program:
An accelerated program designed for students who already hold a baccalaureate degree in another field of study.  This program prepares the student with necessary skills and knowledge for entry-level nursing positions in a variety of diverse settings. Completion of this program prepares students to sit for the NCLEX-RN and to receive licensure as a registered nurse.

Duration: 
15 months
Admission Requirements: 

Baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.0; Completion of prerequisite coursework; Admission to Shenandoah University; Completed application with two letters of recommendation; Personal interview.
