Description & Objectives

Post-Baccalaureate Nursing Program:
A nursing option available to college graduates with non-nursing majors interested in becoming registered nurses. This rigorous program serves the mission of the school of nursing in preparing students to meet the holistic needs of patients, families and communities, especially under-served and rural populations. Upon completion, students receive a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing and are eligible to apply for registered nurse licensure, public health certification and attend graduate school for nursing.
 

Duration: 
15 -16 months (4 consecutive semesters)
Admission Requirements: 

Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; successful completion of prerequisite coursework; completed application with a plan of study worksheet, current resume and personal goal statement; two completed recommendations forms.
Upon acceptance, students need to complete and pass caregiver and criminal background surveys and submit proof of immunizations, current CPR for Healthcare Professionals and CNA course completion and registration.

Tuition Requirements: 

$12,515 per term (4 terms)
