Description & Objectives

Master’s Entry Program:
If you hold a bachelor’s degree in a field other than nursing, the Connell School will launch your advanced practice nursing career in as little as two years of full-time study.  With mentorship from our nationally and internationally recognized faculty, you will be positioned for success in one of nine specialty areas. The first full-time year of the program fulfills the requirements necessary to take the R.N. exam and become a registered nurse.  The second year, which may be completed part-time, fulfills the requirements necessary to receive a master’s degree and to sit for advanced practice certification.

Duration: 
21 months
Admission Requirements: 

A bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university; An undergraduate grade point average of B or better; Completion of prerequisite courses, including two social science courses, a statistics course, anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 with lab, life science chemistry with lab or organic chemistry with lab, and micro-biology with lab; Official transcripts of all prior post-secondary work; Three letters of recommendation; Goal statement; Official GRE scores.
